I resent the comparison to the Westboro freaks.
First of all, I am expressing my opinion, not picketing anybody’s funeral.
Second, the people whose funerals they picket are honorable soldiers. The baby-killers who will pollute a Catholic church by gathering for the upcoming funeral are not honorable people.
Third, the Westboro freaks say “God Hates Fags,” which is a lie. I said that the upcoming funeral will be populated by the brain-suctioning wing of the Catholic Church—which is the simple truth.
You also said you’re not extending condolences due to the party’s political stance. It’s a debate we can have at another time. No reason to kick someone when they’re down, which is what your doing. I stand by the comparison in that vein.
Why would you? You've come to a condolence thread to make damn sure your political points are scored in exactly the same way that they go to a funeral for maximum publicity.
You couldn't have made your points about pro-choice Catholics on another thread? You just had to shit in the punchbowl?
A young man has died, an Iraq combat veteran, leaving a grieving father, widow, and children. You really should be ashamed.
