No worries... the tools in my carry-on luggage that I need(ed) to measure railroad track to see if it is safe for running trains on was confiscated and put in the pile with the chainsaws, sticks of dynamite, Chinese throwing stars and Klingon battle swords at EWR.
Oh, those TSA are good, my bottle was an ounce over.
My personal favorite, Thousands Standing Around.
I had them throw a bottle away once. Was a 6 oz hair product with clearly about 2 ozs left in it. Lol
Mine was brand new with the seal still on and they still tested it for explosive.
They gotta have something to do!! Lol
Looks as if DHS is responding to Senator Tom Coburn’s report released in January ‘15 and contained within this article
Read it if you dare. Maybe tomorrow if you have difficulty sleeping when angry.
I’ve had the TSA test a nice pen for explosives, claim it came back “inconclusive” and throw it in the trash can next to the screening area. I’ve also seen the id checker read and respond to text messages while “checking” id’s.
Let’s face it this just proves the TSA is worthless and can’t catch a damn thing. Also, planes haven’t fallen for out of the sky, fire them all, right now and get a couple local cops to watch the metal detectors and x Ray machines.
Not to worry. A friend of mine had the TSA liberate his 3oz toothpaste, etc. once. Now he just skips that if he knows he is going to a area with a drug store or supermarket nearby and bye it when he arrives.
