Health Reform: A year ago, we were told with great certainty that ObamaCare critics had it all wrong when they warned about coming premium rate shocks. Then came the eye-popping rate requests for next year.

At some point the frog is too weak to jump out of the pot; the fire can then be turned up to full blast.

Besides, it’s dinner time.

Two questions: 1) Why are these media scum acting surprised that astronomical rate requests are resulting from CommieCare, and 2) why aren’t the RePukelicans out in droves stating “we told you so” and do something about it?

I’ve always said this was collusion between big business (who don’t want to pay for employee health insurance anymore, the burden is too big) and the health insurance industry, who fear that like nothing else. They needed a way to satisfy both powerful lobbies, so now when business gets out, the insurance industry is guaranteed customers at the point of a gun.

Three reasons:
because Boehner INVESTED in ObamaCARE companies,
and the GOP created the first RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE,
and because THEY are EXEMPT.

The idiots who voted for this evil, satanic maniac will be the ones who suffer the most by this ironically.

Well planned execution of acceleration of the “death-spiral” to lead into single-payer FedGov healthcare. The word has leaked from SCOTUS that they will be allowing the states not part of the exchanges to still have those states PPACA participants to keep their subsidies. That blows up their plans to blow up the entire healthcare system to implement single-payer. Now there’s Republican talk of a bill to provide relief if SCOTUS throws out the subsidies. Another blow to the single payer march.

Liberals reason for being is to find devious and underhanded ways to take more money and control from the private sector and funnel it into government run entities (including themselves). The unaffordable care act is no exception.

They’ll use big business and big insurance until they’re dispensable, then they’ll toss them aside like a used rag.

When liberals screw things up royally (as is always the case), rather than undoing the mess they made, they continue to make a bigger and bigger mess.

It’s always for the public good. The fact that so many people buy into their lies and deceit never ceases to amaze me.

We live in a Fascist state. A mandated federal program which benefits corporate interests as the conduit.

And the lies? Nothing but Sounds of Silence from those phonies in DC who said they were letting Obamacare stay in place until after this past election, and they'd get rid of it once they had a majority in the US Senate.

The HOR could've defunded it when it first passed....now it'll probably have to collapse along with the rest of the economy.

End of Rant

Take it from someone who works in the ER: Obamacare is not held in high regard.

Big business was never required to pay for anyone’s insurance. I don”t know why anyone believes this.

When a business decided it needed to compete for better labor the sometimes offered it as pay.

In government world pretty much everyone is awarded insurance onthe backs of the 25% that pays for everyone.

These rate hikes were forecast even before the system was open for business. The design of obamacare from the beginning was to drive the USA into the pure socialist single-payer system because obamacare is so obviously unworkable that the Congress will have to rescue us by implementing single-payer. The obvious solution, of course, is to end government involvement in and regulation of Medicine and insurance altogether. which would initiate the cheapest, most widely available most rapidly advancing medical system in history and probably more so than one could reasonably forecast. Neither Congress or the bureaucrats nor the president, even a Cruz or a Walker could not conceive of actually implementing that optimal solution because that is admitting that the best influence the government can have is no influence.

Because the Republican officeholders are as intent on keeping obamacare in force as the Democrats are. Once the system is in place it is job security for elected officeholders. They dont’t have to have a lot of imagination to run campaigns any more. Campaigns will be entirely on obamacare and the pol getting tweaks in place to “help” this special constituency and that one. Much of British politics is run on that premise.

I’m not saying business is forced to, it just became the norm. But it’s a cost U.S. competitors don’t have, and they want out. They can dump it at anytime, and soon will. And with Obambacare, the health insurance industry is protected from what otherwise would be a crushing blow.

Is there any aspect of this wasteful, oppressive law that we weren’t lied to about? How far will the public tolerate it?

Perfectly timed for the Dems to run on a Public Option in 2016.

Hell, it sounds like the pubbies can’t wait to SAVE zerocare.

They are falling all over themselves to assure that they will preserve the subsidies if the SCOTUS strikes them down.

I am sickened by them all.

Anyone got a cave in Idaho they want to sell cheep?
