Parables of hell are illuminating — it is the way people act towards God (and thus towards each other) that makes a hell into a hell. Hell is nothing but the resources of heaven being grossly misused by selfish souls. It isn’t a phenomenon of a God that has decided to go pout in a corner. That decision was human.

I am thinking that if I were to ever drive through Baltimore (trust me-NEVER happen) and see that trash, I might slow down to get a photo, but I wouldn’t roll down my window. ;>)
