On Friday McKinney police officer Eric Casebolt was called in to assist at an out of control pool party at a local subdivision.
Officer Casebolt was filmed throwing a bikini-clad black girl on the ground, twisting her arm and pulling his gun on the crowd.
Casebolt has since been suspended. The incident is under investigation.
Now here’s the rest of the story…
On Monday a local wrote in to Steve Noviello to tell the rest of the story.
PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported…
A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.
This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood’s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.
PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white’s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.
On Sunday a far left group posted the home address and phone number of McKinner officer Eric Casebolt online.
The group also threatened violence.

Were you one of those kids that picked on the Barney Fifes? Because I really didn’t see it in that video...especially with the sound off so I could hear the talking heads reinterpreting it. I didn’t hear any of the bad language on the audio I did listen to later on...just being told that the bad language was there...according to the talking heads. He may very well have used some epithets; epithets are often used by even normal folks during stressful periods.
Well the cop will be the sacrificial lamb anyway, he will lose his job and that will be it. Satisfied! All he needs to do now is shoot a dog and it will make his turn to the dark side complete!
I saw no abuse as well. If you watch the video with the sound of the talking heads of the media turned off, your own gut will inform you!

I don’t know how you came to think that his emotional over reactions are typical of cops, and appropriate, but your whining is tiresome.

It’s a shame no one thought to pull out a cellphone and record video or take photographs of the criminal behavior going on before the cops arrived.
There’s also an account from a resident that some of the youths came back to the neighborhood later and broke down doors, stole vehicles and vandalized property. There don’t seem to be any videos or pictures of that going on, either - or of the damaged property they left behind.
I hope more peaceful, law-abiding citizens will get on the ball and keep their cellphones or cameras handy, so the truth will be known about situations like this.

You related the cop issue to “Barney Fife” a fictional character on a TV show, yet even the fictional Sheriff Andy found Barney useful and likeable and did not “pick on him”(though he did work around him often). So it tells me you are relating the McKinney situation to memes and narratives to themes you have been programmed with by the media and don’t have a seasoned morality grounded in real life to accurately judge what is going on. Relating the McKinney video to how Sheriff Andy should have done things vs how the “Barney Fife” cop in that video had performed...you can’t be serious!
If the girl had been permanently hurt or the teens shot as they pretended to gesture that they had a weapon before taking off when the cop waved the real gun, then we would have been in some agreement. Cops are being pushed into a corner in this country and if they suddenly just quit being cops...then this country is in a world of trouble. You see what is going on in Baltimore. I’m inclined to show a cop like this a little more discretion, given what is going on in this nation.
The various policing and legal agencies are like chains. Chains have weak and strong links and the internal adversaries of our nation are trying to push to see if they can get the weak links to break so that they can destroy our nation. That is where I am coming from!
The various “Sheriff Andy’s” have become corrupted or too frightened to act....what may well be left to us are the “Barney Fifes”....to use your analogy(Obama’s crowd like to call us conservative right wingers Barney Fifes any way so you might as well get your one bullet out). Another way of looking at it... The vessels of Gold and Silver have failed us....the vessels of clay and wood will have to step up and be strong!

That said, the truth will come out... not in the MSM - but in dribs and drabs. Well, unless the kids were totally in the right - and the cops were totally wrong - in which case the MSM will cover this big time - and for months.

I don’t see that the cop was in the wrong, not with the conditions he was facing. I know I’m not the only one that sees it the same way...but hey it doesn’t matter. The cops in McKinney will react the same way they reacted in Baltimore....will just back off and let the criminals rage! Now go walk with Opie and help him skip rocks across the pond. Maybe Mayberry exists somewhere...but this is not America anymore!

McKinney Police Cpl. Eric Casebolt, who was under investigation, “resigned on his own will,” police Chief Greg Conley said at a news conference. He called Casebolt’s actions “indefensible.”
“As the video shows, he was out of control during the incident,” Conley said, “I had 12 officers on the scene and 11 of them performed according to their training.”

So you can as obsessed as you want to be, but his resigning, seems to have locked up the verdict, and we’ll probably not learn why he was with the Texas highway Patrol for such a short while.

The media focus on the cop was the “look squirrel!” to get the sheeples’ minds off the real mess going on!
Since you brought up t “Barney Fife”...the Barney Fife’s maybe slipping the chain because the “Andy Griffith’s aren’t doing their job. You might have noted that there is a huge rot going on in the underbelly of America and cops are on the front line of it! They are reflexive of American culture...the good and the bad of it. The real stink starts at the top, in our governing organizations but the poison and rot is at our heart.
