The boys in Harrisburg refused to confirm Brown as State Police Commissioner. Tommie says he can remain acting commissioner, there is no time limit.
That sets up a political showdown with Tommie looking like a dictator.

Although it looks like Tommie the Commie and the Pubbies in the Legislature have a secret backroom agreement to raise our taxes. Sales and income taxes going up to provide “property tax relief”. Like Charlie Brown and the football. I was living in Michigan when they did this. Sales tax went up 50%, and within a few years property taxes were right back where they were.
Big brawl is coming over what to do with the revenue. Wolf wants to give it to poor districts like Philly, Pittsburgh, McKeesport. The Pubs want to give it to districts where it would provide the most tax relief (Upper St. Clair, Mt. Lebo, etc.)
