The destruction of this country was rooted a great deal in the decay of the American family. Kids join gangs because gangs feel like family, and the gang leader seems like your “father” or “big brother” regardless of whether or not this is true. So the decay of the American family is very much associated with crime, and not surprisingly, gangs have decent success recruiting children who either have the abusive or absent parents, then the cycle tends to be perpetuated by the gang lifestyle, as the gangsters tend to have illegitimate children who they either are absent from, or separated from their children by prison. The single parent families largely account for a great deal of poverty and crime, and the cycle goes on. Nowadays though, the media and politicians try to pretend that the problem isn’t there, or try other ideas like gun control or hype stuff up like the Jenner business to say all is well in America.
