I agree with you. In the news earlier was that the vixen, Tillie the Tigress, had a personal cell phone that the well endowed (according to the report) fellow probably used to contact buddies on the outside.
My guess is he was both fund-raising, and shopping for a shake-down. They had to have cash to bribe others not to notice the racket the power tools made. And they would need money on the outside, as well as a sympathetic place to hide for a little. I bet like crazy Tillie gave them cash as well as power tools.
BTW, did you read how she hooked up with the poor slob who she is currently married to? I feel so sorry for her son.
