Then let me ask, varyouga. Do you have firearms in your home? If so, why? I mean someone breaking in is rare then why do you PLAN not to be a victim vs taking a roll at the dice?

Well, I do like guns purely as a hobby so that’s not a good question to ask.

But in general, owning tools (within reasonable limits) is not the same as changing your daily life and restricting yourself from activities. Guns at home would be sitting in some box and not limiting you in any way.

I have lived in REAL fear of my life and carried when I was an actual target but I’d never carry 24/7 in anticipation of a random attack. The chance of it happening is too close to zero.

Jogging an entire lifetime without music or carrying an uncomfortable weapon 24/7 because of a minuscule chance of attack is stupid
