Satire is a comedic form which conveys an opposite implication than which is superficially proposed. The most celebrated example of satire is ‘A Modest Proposal’ which clearly condemns the English treatment of the Irish as worse than livestock while a superficial reading of the work has Swift suggest the literal use of the Irish as livestock.
This isn’t satire. Not even close. This is a fake news story.
