Obama has been so nasty to Israel because he thinks we have nowhere else to go. I would rather work for closer ties with India, China and Russia than continue to be America’s stray puppy even with a kinder master. We are one damned useful puppy, because we are holding back the Islamic tide, making it possible to hope for a new day in Egypt because they won’t be attacked via our land bridge. But for the likes of Obama and company, Islam is not the threat, so they see us merely as a puppy, complicating his relationship with the Islamic world. If we don’t get another such President in 2017, the relationship will still have the same weakness, unless we find new friends in addition to America.
