Did Texas seize a million dollars worth of Harleys? Has anybody got their bike back?

Claire Wolfe, check your watch. It might be time.

Did any of the people who were tried for “witchcraft” ever get their personal belongings or land back?

[that is a rhetorical question, of course]

I mentioned no names and issued no pings.

Therefore, when they show up, we shall know them.

Yup.

I only see one out of state biker.
Where are all these gangsters who have no criminal record in Texas because their crimes are elsewhere?

We hope you boys enjoyed your stay with us in McLennan County. Y’all come back now if’n you want any more of our first class hospitality.

Your bond money can pay for our Sheriff Department’s summer picnic over at Hooters. It oughta be a real good one this year.

Looks like they really cranked up the court system this week.

I guess a few comments about ‘due process’ might have reached Waco by pony express or something.

It is interesting that David Martinez, a Bandido club president, was one of the three who bonded out early on the original 1 million. I had wondered if the gangs would use their resources to post bond for their members.

So even a million dollar bond won’t deter a Bandido club president. But the clubs didn’t bond out others of their own.

Just Saying!

There was disinformation to that effect put out; but, I have not seen that it is an actual condition imposed on anyone who has been released.

“I guess a few comments about ‘due process’ might have reached Waco by pony express or something.”

That is exactly the thought that came to my mind. I think the officials are getting nervous.

One more thing. It looks like Daryle R. Walker, Harker Heights is the only one who does not have a bond listed by his name. I wonder it this is the guy they let go but held onto his Harley?

I’ll take a stab at that rhetorical question.
Nope. Everyone involved scattered to the four winds. Twenty years later all were exonerated and their families each received three sovereigns. It was very unpleasant in this neck ‘o the woods for about one hundred years.
