Cruz is a good candidate, but he is going to support Obama on this legislation. This first vote was only the first step.

Rubio will go along too. He was absent for the first vote.

I hope for your sake you’re not an obnoxious butt head all the time.

Cruz is a good candidate, but he is going to support Obama on this legislation. This first vote was only the first step.

And those not voting for it are supporting ALL of the Democrats (Except Obama), ALL of the unions, and ALL of the other Progressive groups including the Communists.

Congratulations on picking the correct side in this fight!

You come on a Ted Cruz thread to cause trouble and call me an obnoxious butt-head?

Cause trouble????? He’s my candidate. I expressed an opinion!!!!!! Since when is expressing an opinion causing trouble? I’ve been here many years and have always thought it was discussion forum. Shall I clear my posts through you in the future so I cause no more trouble?

No more secret agreements that give Obama even more power.

TPA was the "cloture" vote on TPP/TAA/TiSA/T_TIP.

As Cruz has rightly said on more the one occasion "the real vote was the cloture vote."

If you for for cloture (TPA) you have defato voted for TPP/etc.

Wrong, they are separate bills. TPA protects sovereignty and keeps trade legislation with congress and not international entities.

I am NOT wrong, you are lying about TPA it is the equalent of the cloture vote and you damn well know that! From another thread

"but on trade promotion authority -- legislation to require up-or-down approval without amendments of trade agreements"

Notice the up-or-down vote, no amendments. no filibuster. Cloture requires 60 votes, TPA means no cloture vote, because the TPA vote is the cloture vote.

I like Cruz, I voted for him 3 times here in Texas, but he is badly wrong on this issue and was badly wrong on reauthorizing the Patriot Act.

To: right way right

Thanks I did listen to that interview which is what has given me pause to consider this issue further.
