TrapWire, a secret surveillance system was earlier credited (by the Texas Dept. of Public Safety (State Police) with arrests of 44 terrorist suspects, with much fanfare.
But dig under the veneer a little but, and you will find that that number is off.
By about 44.

Perhaps the title of the article has been changed.
The title is: “DPS admits wrongly crediting TrapWire terror alert system for arrests”
Thanks for posting. I didn't know the program existed.

This could be thrown right back in their faces by saying, “So, they captured, executed and buried 44 terrorists without letting the public know?”
Obviously being snarky, it could be followed up by saying, “But what if they were just illegal aliens, not terrorists?”

Why does this headline say “Dallas Police...”?
The item is about the TX DPS.
Just more trash from the liberal rag known as the DMNews.
