“Measurements at the Golden Gate show that San Francisco Bay rose 8 inches over the past century — and could rise another 16 to 55 inches by 2100.”

I wonder what the source of this bit of science is? Apparently its not worth mentioning.

Believe it or Not I’ve seen lakes rise by over 20 FEET (not inches) this year and it had nothing at all to do with global warming. These guys still think the sun revolves around the earth.

The impacts of melting ice and global warming will hit California harder than most of the world because most of the state’s coastline is already slowly sinking because of geological forces, a 2012 National Academy of Sciences report warned.

So how much of the 8 inches is from ocean rise and how much is from the land sinking?
