I don’t know whether just coincidence, and I can’t say this about all as I do encounter very friendly customer service reps of all colours, but I’d say about 75% of the black customer service people I engage with lately are unfriendly. They won’t engage in conversation at all. No friendliness. No thank yous. No smiles. I feel hostility in whatever the transaction is that I’m doing with them. I’m going to start reporting it to management when it happens from now on. No matter the colour. I’m sick of it.
