Major U.S. retailers say they’re done selling the Confederate flag—but Dewey Barber is just getting started.
Under pressure, retail giants including Walmart, Amazon and eBay announced that they would pull Confederate flags and similar themed products from their websites.
Barber, though, decided to do the exact opposite—he plans to begin manufacturing the Confederate flag and add it to the lineup on his Dixie Outfitters website, now that the “big boys” are out of the business.

Exactly. It’s understood, even with my friends who sell on Amazon, that certain products that only a very few sell, will make money.

I ordered two of them from another small dealer in Civil War related items. One of them a replica of an Army of Tennessee Flag because I had ancestors in that army, men who did not own slaves and only enlisted when Sherman came to Georgia. The other is a Stainless Banner, the 2nd National Flag of the CSA. Most people who see it would be clueless as to what it is.
