Absolutely cogent interpretation of this ruling’s likely impact. As much as this “community” likes to pose as loving, faithful partners, I’d bet that divorce rates go through the roof. I should have gone to law school as I originally planned. Though it must be hard to do my job holding my nose all the time.
If gays are as small a minority as some claim, and if they’re as reluctant to marry as some here believe, I would think it wouldn’t be that much of a windfall.
