A top Clinton campaign official has urged supporters to making monthly donations and volunteer in the former first lady's effort to win the presidency.
The call from campaign manager Robby Mook apparently startled a crowd of 150 attending a $25-a-head fundraiser.
It was part of his pitch to supporters to help in what is expected to be a well-funded and record-smashing $2.5 billion campaign.
Appearing at the top-rated Mise en Place wine restaurant in Tampa Monday, Mook also said that Clinton plans to end Super PACs.
Clinton has promised to remove "unaccountable money" from the political process if elected, but her campaign and the Clinton Foundation have come under fire for their fundraising.
