The Electoral College is basically now a Democrat lock, with young and Hispanic voters turning out in higher numbers in Presidential years.
270 EVs is very nearly out of reach for the GOP (and this gets crushingly certain once the Hispanic majority generation in Texas is old enough to vote).
Good points. I don’t see young white voters playing much of a role in elections anymore as there simply aren’t very many of them (and many of those have been economically marginalized). Since they won’t breed, we have turned over the future to those others who will.
