When I waited 2-yrs for a VA claim and nothing heard, I called and was told if I pushed then they would take my file from the stack and put it at the bottom of the stack, thereby delaying more years to get any action.

They control the timeline and they abuse everyone they can. . .petty cowards. . .

My county gov't actually has people on staff who work as intermediaries between the VA and the vet. That's who I filed through.
I think it helps keep the VA a little more honest than not.
