It’s the Ronnie Earl RAT Syndrome. Find a chink in some GOP officeholder’s armor and feed it to a “select” grand jury. This is similar to the John Chisholm RAT Syndrome in Wisconsin. The problem is that the GOP elect people that have skeletons in their closet and these RATS are only too willing to air their discretions in a “public forum.” Basically, if you are a Republican without sin, you are good to go (maybe). Otherwise you had better not seek public office today. Paxton is in for a ride, because RAT county DA’s in Texas evidently have carte blanche to trample whomever they choose.
