I didn’t have ancestors on either side but the Confederate flag should remain as it is..a symbol of American history and a token of the ancestors millions of Americans..and yes a source of pride..

My ancestors were Loyalists during the American Revolution.. “the troubles”..born in the US to American parents and grandparents..

What’s next ??? Banning the Union Jack that used to fly over our country just because its a symbol of “oppression” taxation and the English King George ???

In 250 years has anyone complained ???

LOL! But now you’ve opened up a can of worms by planting that seed. My ancestors fought for one of the NY regiments during the war between the states. Maybe we’re not allowed to say ‘Civil War’ anymore either so I’m just playin’ it safe. I wouldn’t want to offend anyo..............oh, wait. I forgot for a second that I try to be an equal opportunity offender. :>}
