If you like Iced Earth and want more all-political stuff, there's Jon Schaffer's solo project
Sons of Liberty

The song kicks ass anyway, but the Patriot video synced with it is powerful stuff. Glad you enjoyed.

In 2010 my wife did a Revolutionary war/conservative art exhibit in her gallery and we gave out copies of Brushfires of the Mind.

I’ve always known Iced Earth but never really had a chance to listen much or get into them. I had no idea that Jon Schaffer was a conservative. Another good death metal bloke and very conservative is Ralph Santolla of Deicide and many other bands and projects. I think we need to share more conservative metal stuff. Thanks a lot for doing this.

Thanks a lot for doing this.A lot of metal from various countries is about their wars of independence—not all of which were successful at the time. E.g., Skyforger (Latvia), Loits (Estonia), Moonsorrow (Finland), Glittertind (rural Norway), Heidevolk (Netherlands), Arkona (Russia).

Sabaton has loads of songs/albums about war history. Iced Earth-The Glorious Burden is all historical songs about the Civil and Revolutionary wars and similar. Not sure where he is politically, but James Hetfield (Metallica) narrated a hunting series.
