Montgomery County Police are investigating a report of a single shot fired on the campus.
Montgomery County Police and federal law enforcement agencies are investigating an unconfirmed report of a single gunshot at the Walter Reed National Medical Center, on Rockville Pike.
At 10:48, someone on base reported hearing a shot.
The U.S. Navy tweets employees are sheltering in place, but does not confirm any shots have been fired.

Sounds like a repeat of the non-incident incident at the US Navy Yard last week. That incident caused dozens of FED and state LEOs to respond.
