IIRC her husband is a former 18B that's been in the box.
Her, I do know has full LEOSA B&C (Badge and credentials). They went to Guam/Saipan to go scuba diving and carry concealed there. I think she was a reserved deputy that took off 19 weeks to get the full LEO credentials and then became an investigator or detective or something. She's been around the block, smart, and nice on the eyes.
I suspect she is left on a number of issues but on guns at least she is where most on this website are. As has been noted many times in the past here there is a wide swath of dims that do support gun rights. I listened to her a few times when she did radio up here in Toronto and that gave me a rough idea of her opinions.
Before making an assumption like this, you may want to do a little research: According to Wikipedia, her father is career military, she was raised as an "army brat,' and she married a retired member of the US Special Forces. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynne_Russell) Although she could have been a lib at one point, her background does not fit the typical lib profile.
If the left would go all in to support the full exercise of the second amendment, they would own the U.S.

Russell is an Army brat and has been a private detective and served in a sheriff's reserve. She has handled courthouse security.
She wasn't "born yesterday".
She was a Fulton county sherriff’s deputy while working at CNN.
