For the first time since I rejoined it in my mid 20's, I am seriously thinking about doing so. It is now preaching the Pope's personal political views, not Gospel truth.

I was raised Catholic in the New York area and stopped attending mass in the 1980’s, when I lived in southern California and that scumbag Roger Mahoney was the head honcho cardinal in Los Angeles.

At public events, he urged people to vote for democrats. He never met a gun grabbing proposal or an illegal alien that he didn’t want to embrace. He covered up for a priest who implicated in the sex scandals.

It’s not just this Marxist joke of a pope it’s also the left wing cardinals and bishops and their open borders, income restribution, and gun grabbing BS they all spout.
And for them to have tax exempt status is an outrage.....they should have some skin in the game.

They lost me when they plunged into left-wing earthly politics. I wish they would put in the same effort fighting for the oppressed Christians of the world, especially in the Middle East.

Also, if the pope no longer wants to extract oil from the Earth, how does he expect to fly from South America back to Rome?

Let me know when Jesus returns to Earth. I’ll follow Him....his earthly representatives leave a lot to be desired.
