They still should pay it, but should hire a lawyer with it to sue this bastard to the poor farm.

I’d rather the money go for lawyers instead of lesbians.

Too bad we couldn’t turn this into a class action lawsuit.

According to this Oregon Labor Commissar if you are a for profit business then the government owns you and you have to service everyone

Now, if they become a nonprofit and a religious ministry at least for making ceremony cakes, perhaps there is an angle . Surely they can get the best legal advice on this

They should not pay and that judge should be “taken care of” as an example to activists judges everywhere.

The Rabbi should tell these gay fascists to just try to cut his curls off.

Yeah. I've suffered much personal anguish and suffering from the homosexual activists and what they have spoken and written about me, as a heterosexual and a Christian. I'll wager there are tens of millions like me that would join in. These two lesbians' case would be a great one to begin with.

Maybe that's the answer. At least for now...

I would not pay the fine. I would buy a one way ticket to another country.

It's great news. But will only encourage the devil to demand more next time.

By paying the fine, their case in court becomes very weak. The courts consider paying the fine as agreeing with the decision to impose the fine.

DON’T PAY THE FINE.
Use the money to defy them.

I saw this nice Christian couple on Hannity last night. As I understand it they are going to use the money to fight this and are not planning to pay the fine. The commisars in Oregon are way out of control.

They should find a way to hide that money and NOT PAY A DAMN DIME TO THESE PERVERTS.

Where are the good Christian lawyers who would be willing to take their case and defend them pro bono and while they’re at sue the lesbians for a humongous amount of money for bringing this case and clogging up the courts.. The only reason they ordered the cake from this couple is because they knew they were Christians. For Pete’s sake, they can buy a cake any place. Most grocery stores have a bakery.

I approve of helping the victims of this predatory lawsuit. I do not, however, approve of paying money to the evil thugs who filed that lawsuit. I hope they will use at least half of what was raised to fight the immoral order until the thugs die of cancer, AIDS, or some other well-deserved act of God.

Martin Niemöller was a Protestant minister in Germany, who spent 1938 to 1945 in various prison camps maintained by the National Socialist German Working-men’s Party, until released by the termination of hostilities.

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
“Because I was not a Socialist.

“Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
“Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

“Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
“Because I was not a Jew.

“Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

First the Nazis impose onerous and completely disproportionate fines. Then they criminalize those who object to such treatment. Finally they have to empty out the prison camps by “liquidating” the excess numbers.

They should also sue the labor commissioner for civil rights violations in ordering excessive fines and for free speech violations.

Article the eighth ... Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

$135,000 for declining to bake a "wedding" cake because of the message demanded on the cake is shockingly excessive. In addition to violating their First Amendment rights to free speech, freedom of religion, and free association, the thugs in this petty tyrant's office also trampled their Eighth Amendment rights. Big government liberals who behave like this deserve no human consideration at all. They are lower than rabid dogs, and far more dangerous to society.

Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian and his entire office should be fired, fined, and prosecuted under:

18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law

"Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States . . . shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death."

For evil of this magnitude, I'd like to see life without parole for the petty tyrant Labor Commissioner, for the administrative law judge, and for every other thug who played an active role in this travesty. In the absence of a federal criminal prosecution, I'd like to see any other appropriate and effective means used to protect the community from the evil that is attacking innocents.
