Score one for the good guys, even if it's only a partial victory. The State of Oregon has failed in its attempt to bankrupt Aaron and Melissa Klein for the crime of declining to bake a cake - as the preposterous $135,000 fine it levied was no match for the willingness of good people to help out the Kleins and their now exclusively online business, Sweet Cakes by Melissa. Through a campaign via Continue to Give, people who still respect both faith and freedom have responded to the following appeal by contributing more than $200,000:

Why should the Kliens pay that fine? All they are doing is enriching the lesbians. They should not pay 1 penny.
Agreed, God will provide. IMHO, I hope they do not pay the fine. The fine was levied illegally and the claim by the lesbian couple is frivolous and should be denied with prejudice.
No but I'm sure taxes will take a chunk out if it. They'll probably have enough to cover their fine but not much more.

I would refuse to be fined for my God-Given Natural Right to Freedom of Thought and Religion which is UNALIENABLE and PREDATES all governments. There is no “natural right” to sodomize others or force Vice in any “Justice” system based on Natural Law and God’s Law.
They should use the money to sue for millions and should do as Nuremberg Trials stated-—that when law ceases to be Just (virtuous), it ceases to be law. They have a DUTY to defy unjust law.
Correct - not one penny to enrich this Tyranny. If it were my business (then again, I would never live on the West Coast), I would take this all the way to prison for somebody. The mentally disturbed lesbians should be able to get help for all those pre-sexisting conditions thru Obmammycare. I would make them prove they weren’t fat and unhappy before they intentionally found someone to make them even unhappier. BWAAAH.
They need to use the money to sue the lesbos for lying about their injuries in the documents submitted to the court. They should also sue the labor commissioner for civil rights violations in ordering excessive fines and for free speech violations.

But now, will caterers have to cater all types of events? If two Satanists have a wedding, does the Christian caterer have to bake a cake for a satanic ritual? If a polygamous group wants a cake, will the Christian caterer have to decorate it with multiple brides and grooms and deliver it to their “wedding”?
OTOH, what kind of fools order people to cook or bake them food? Who, in their right mind, purposely ticks off the cook?
Maybe they should use the money to establish a ministry that runs its bakery to serve as a nonprofit .... I’ m sure there is a way to turn your family into a nonprofit, like Rahm Emmanuel has done
One they are a ministry and a nonprofit the rules about public accommodation required of all forProfit businesses as in the order issued by Labor Commissar Avakian don’t seem to apply
