I don’t see any connection between the Chinese stock market crash and anything else. What’s the connection?
To stop a complete meltdown in the market.
Our Market was down 200 points right as China started taking a nose dive.
Then all of a sudden the NYSE has a glitch?
If the chinese market crashes, their manufacturing sector (ie. the US proxy manufacturing sector) grinds to a halt. Unless you grow crops or raise livestock in the US, your industrial feedstocks and container loads of consumer products stop coming. If that happens, we are screwed.
