It’s the Confederate flag....should Germany allow the Nazi flag to be flown over Berlin despite the fact that Hitler lost the war? Come on, folks. Fly the flag on your own property, not the government’s. The flag is not evil, but it’s not appropriate for government buildings.

It is NOT the Confederate flag and comparing it to Nazi’s is a violation of Godwin’s Law...comparison fail as well.

I agree. I have absolutely nothing against flying the Confederate flag, except if you’re going to do it, why not fly the British flag, the Spanish flag, the French flag? They were all part of our history and flown here at one time or another.

The nazi flag was the flag of the national socialist party, the German flag looks nothing like it. The Confederate battle flag, on the other hand, represented a segment of the American people who were basically stressing states rights over those of the Federal government. It has certainly been misused over the years to represent whatever the misuser wanted it to...slavery, segregation, racism, but that was primarily by the Democrat party.

It's a good thing that the South Carolina murderer did not wave a cross or they'd have closed the churches.
