There is, without question, "Hispanic privilege" in Mexico.

Those Caucasians of pure Spanish extraction constitute a thin veneer at the top of the class heap, running the country's government, industries, institutions and society -- lording it over the 90% of the population that is Indian or mixed-race Mestizo.

The casting in the soap operas on Mexican TV demonstrate the point.

Hispanic privilege is far more embedded in Mexican culture than is "white privilege" in the USA -- where it is institutionally-denied via "affirmative action".

MTV management deserves to be taken out behind the barn (and whupped) for airing such a blatently dishonest concept.
