WHITE HOUSE BLASTS TED CRUZ, DONALD TRUMP, HOUSE GOP, ON RACE AND THE CONFEDERATE FLAG

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest opened today’s press briefing with a stern condemnation of the national Republican party, suggesting it is out of touch with the rest of America on issues surrounding the Confederate flag and race.

After praising the South Carolina House of Representatives for voting to take down the Confederate flag from the State Capitol, Earnest quickly turned his fire on National Congressional Republicans and their party whip, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA).

“A sizable number of House Republicans are eager to protect the status of the Confederate flag on National Park service grounds,” he said. “These are the same House Republicans who voted for a party leader who once described himself as ‘David Duke without the baggage,’” he said.

House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) pulled the bill after it became a political fight over the Confederate flag.

Referring to Donald Trump, Earnest added that “these are the same congressional Republicans who have declined to criticize the race bating rhetoric of a leading Republican presidential candidate.”

“That’s to say nothing of the Senate Republican who has saluted that candidate,” he added, referring to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

UPDATE: Boehner spokesman Cory Fritz reacted quickly to the White House attack with the following statement:

“Distorting fact to try and score cheap political points is no way to honor the victims of the horrific crime in Charleston. These childish attacks are completely dishonest, and beneath the dignity of the office of the presidency.”

“I wish all white people could go on strike for a month.”

We’ve done that permanently.

We escaped Mexifornia and moved to a rural, conservative area in Tennessee. If we keep our adjusted gross income around $20k, with the standard deduction and personal exemptions, we will pay very little in taxes. We’ll open some small businesses- no small feat with all the government regulations required. But the one advantage of being self-employed they haven’t taken away yet is we can each put $21k into 401ks off the top of our income, plusca percentage of profits. So that will help us control our taxable income.

Supporting this fascist regime just encourages it. We ALL need to starve the beast.

Let’s not forget that Chamberlain called Hitler a “perfect gentleman.” Civility with tyrants is not a waste but an encouragement that they should continue. I have had more than enough Republican “civility.” It leads me to suspect that all they want to do is trade places with their rivals.

There is no civility. The cultural stakes of civilization, are US against them, the tax-fed lying bastards of humanity.

Well Gosh, Josh, your panties in a wad because of Cruz/Trump comments? Boy, grow up. You’ve been around pansies much too long. You’re turning into a whatsit, too. Thought you’d be much more tolerant than that. You know, after all, you work at the White House, have daily contact with ValJar’s puppet. That must take something out of you Yeah?
