Well, it might be satire but then again who would have thought lesbians would get $135,000 from a bakery just because they didn’t want to bake a homo marriage cake. AND the state would place a gag order on the owners.
Suing over a translation of the Bible that's many centuries old, and has been legally published all during US history, seems to be more than a little far-fetched.
There is a critical distinction in all this that few ever make. Some things that are considered a sin are also illegal. And, some things that are considered a sin are not illegal. There has never been any thought that every sin has to be illegal in the US.
So, homosexuality can still be considered a sin even if it is not illegal, and it is not illegal to consider it a sin. It would take some new, Orwellian law for it to be illegal to consider homosexuality a sin. Such laws exist, or almost exist in maybe Canada and parts of Europe, but I don't think the US has fallen that far yet.
