With the way the world is today we could be snaked by literally thousands of sleeper cells that strolled across the border over the years. I think military bases that lock weapons away from most of the military personnel are as dumb as carrying around a pistol with no ammo on you. All it is then is a conversation piece...

Several months ago, my Guard unit put out (official TX policy) that CHL holders and LE were allowed to carry on any TXARNG facilities. Since we share our complex with Reserve units, we’re considered a Federal installation so those rules don’t apply.
However, several of us still do anyway, and a bunch more at least have something tucked away in the truck.

The Donald is firing on all 8. I spent 24 years in USAF uniform and never carried a government-issued weapon except for qualification. Would still have loved to have the ability to carry personal weapons instead of being told to hide and cower and throw a stapler if cornered....
He has so much he has done, but so much still yet to do. Four more years! And he needs a conservative Congress to work with.
