In an emergency meeting Thursday evening, Columbia City Council passed an ordinance temporarily banning weapons within a 250-foot perimeter surrounding the South Carolina State House grounds. Turn about is fair play:

SC state law preempts all local gun laws. How is this legal? Why, they're in rebellion against the constitution and legitimate government of the people! Better call out the militia....
All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.
