SC state law preempts all local gun laws. How is this legal?

In an emergency meeting Thursday evening, Columbia City Council passed an ordinance temporarily banning weapons within a 250-foot perimeter surrounding the South Carolina State House grounds.

Turn about is fair play:

In an emergency meeting Thursday evening, the people of South Carolina are enforcing an ordinance temporarily banning politicians outside a 250-foot perimeter surrounding the South Carolina State House grounds.

Pitchforks and torches, for a beginning. More to follow.

A government that fears arms in the hands of its people should also fear the rope!

Why, they're in rebellion against the constitution and legitimate government of the people! Better call out the militia....

All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.
