Cruz: GOP Candidates Attacking Trump ‘Because They Haven’t Been Speaking Out’
Breitbart ^ | 7-9-15 | Ian Hanchett

Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 96% said many Republican candidates are attacking Donald Trump “Because they haven’t been speaking out on the need to secure the border” on Thursday’s broadcast of “The Intelligence Report with Trish Regan” on the Fox Business Network.

“Well, illegal immigration continues to be enormous problem. As you know, I represent Texas. We have roughly 1,200 miles of border with Mexico. We deal will legal immigration every day. We deal with the crime that flows from it. And unfortunately, it’s exacerbated, number one by cities like San Francisco that are sanctuary cities, that give blessings to criminal aliens. But, number two, we deal with the problem that the Obama administration consistently refuses to enforce the laws. For example, in 2013, the Obama administration released over 36,000 criminal aliens. It released 116 illegal immigrants with homicide convictions.”

Trump is showing what spineless, backstabbing goobers they are. Boehner and co. must be apoplectic.

And they’re freaking out.

Maybe. His drop is likely due to former Cruz supporters going to Trump. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out as the field clears. Too many wanna be candidates with <5% support.

With the exception of Cruz, Trump makes the other clowns look weak.

Because they ARE weak.

'Rat generated Sanctuary City Policy needs to be called as a Death to Americans campaign.

Much like the Iranian Death to America slogans.

They’re on Trump because he wants to cut their salaries and term limits.

The communists on CNN are terrified of this guy.

A couple of black marxist propagandists on one of their shows tonight basically said that Trump, the Republicans, and anybody who doesn’t denounce him are racists in need an attitude adjustment.

They are really busy twisting the knife into the back of law abiding normal American taxpayers.

Trump will crucify the likes of Jeb Bush, comes right out and says he doesn’t respect him.

For that reason alone is a Godsend.

““I’ve been dealing with politicians all my life. They are all talk, no action,” Trump said. “Never going to get done. They’re controlled by the lobbyists, they’re controlled by donors, and they’re controlled by special interests. When I tell somebody to do something, I’m not going to get a lobbyist calling me the next day to say, ‘Please don’t do that even though it’s good for America.’”

Specifically, he got asked about Jeb Bush. Not a big fan. “The last thing we need is another Bush,” Trump said.

He doesn’t seem to think much of Jeb’s brother, George W., either. During the interview, Trump said, “I would be willing to bet I would have a great relationship with [Russian President] Vladimir Putin. It’s about leadership.” O’Reilly responded with, “You sound like George W. Bush when he looked into [Putin’s] soul and said he was a good guy.” Trump snarked, “Bush didn’t have the IQ.”

Ted is being overly polite.
The others are attacking Trump because they are not on the side of the rule of law and the citizens.
They want to accomodate people who have flouted our laws.

Keep Dreaming.

Any supposed Cruz “supporter” that drops Cruz and goes to Trump should be declared mentally unstable and unfit for voting.

Ted Cruz is the real deal, trustworthy, and the model of Reagan.

Donald Trump is a charlatan that says/does whatever to promote Trump. I don’t give a damn how much supposed “good” is coming from his mouth. I don’t trust him one bit. He’s not for conservatism, he’s for Trumpism and the advancement of his ego. He will do more to damage conservatism the longer he stays in and keeps people from voting for REAL Reagan conservatives like Cruz.

This is sad that some people are sold just on words with no record to back it up. If Jeb Bush had done a 180 and said the things Trump is saying now, would everybody be proclaiming Jebbers a “convert to conservatism”. Of course not, he’d be label a RINO and unworthy of trust. But Trump gets praised despite his numerous past statements bashing conservatism and the Tea Party.

2016 is the last chance to get a REAL conservative in the WH while there’s still a chance to undo a lot of the damage.

Because they ARE weak.

I have been posting privately to people here our so called vaulted field or great candidates to loosely coin a talk show guy with great hair, isn't good at all, you are right they are weak. I was darn near a heretic to say so. IMHO we are down to Cruz, Walker and Trump, with the outliers being Carlie and Jindal. Like my tagline says everything else is a Yugo with racing stripes. For my sardonic view of the field I posted last Dec. go here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3232647/posts?page=14#14

You do realize that some folks can be for Cruz and like some of the comments Trump has made about immigration.

We deal will legal immigration every day.

What exactly does that mean?

We deal with the crime that flows from it

Crime flows from legal immigration? Maybe a little, but....WTF?

Cruz is winning a lot of points with me for backing Trump. Now, if Cruz would study the NumbersUSA data on the damage done by our massive legal immigration policy ....

Ted Cruz is still my man. In 2012, we didn't nominate my candiates Michelle Bachmann and, then Newt Gingrich. I hope we don't make that same mistake in 2012 again.

p.s. Mitt (happens) Romney was wrong when he kept saying Obama was a nice guy.
