What I would not give to have one more year..or month..or week...even a day with my gone dogs.
What I have done, when they were down and near the end, just to keep them happy and going a bit longer.
No matter how long I had them, it was never time enough.
No matter how much “trouble” it was to help them get around, I never thought it a burden.
Every single second was a blessing to have.
And they dumped him.

OMgoodness! I cried when I saw that commercial, too. Now I won’t watch it. I’ve done the bucket list for our Henry some years back.. just sad.
