“I never heard about the EB-5 visa program before. “

I first read about it years ago back when i was still getting my green card in canadastan. It’s an another one of those options to get into the country, if you have the dough. Basically you are buying your own green card. In the Filipino newspapers where these immigration attorneys run amok, it’s offered as an alternative as there’s more money in it than processing an ordinary citizenship application.

Yup...if you have “investment money” you get a green card, AND if you have a skill the U.S. is seeking (Doctor, R.N., etc.) you get a green card...immigration “pay for play” where you pay the gov’t. Other European would be emigrees not in these categories have to wait ten years for a visa to emigrate, most falling by the wayside. This doesn’t begin to offset the multitudes of no talent emigrees who just walk across the border and we “pay for their play” for generations. SIGH!
