We’ve been trying since 2009, giving them big wins in 2010 and 2014. The response from the GOP has been to punish the guys we sent there to stop Obama while they give him everything he wants.
The people running the GOP would rather burn the party to the ground than let conservatives take over.
This isn’t a 6 or 8 year effort. It takes perseverance. They have people that have been working the party structures for decades.
