How then do we respond?

We do what we've always done - what we're doing now.

We hide behind the sofa and cringe in horror, and poke our noses out saying things like "I'm sorry, please like me, I won't say anything anymore".

We are a nation of herbivores, and are completely paralyzed when the fecal-flinging monkeys of the Left start screaming.

IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME.

You and I could be bookends. I keep shouting out in the wilderness.

Conservatives MUST activate by convening to make plans for push-back. The voting habits of our representatives need to be monitored and circulated so that malfunctioning members of Congress will be recalled. There needs to be large crowds in the streets banging on pots demanding the resignation of any official who passes edicts that are contrary to rule of law or the Constitution. All leaders, right down to corporate and communities must be held accountable. Basically, conservatives need to just as loud and obnoxious as those who are destroying our society.

The problem is, conservatives are too busy, too lazy, and too complacent to get out of the blogging position. They are Sheeple.

I think we misapply Jesus’ words about interpersonal relationships when we try to force them onto governments. Jesus was clear that we give Caesar what’s Caesar’s, but he was also clear that not everything is Caesar’s.

I am from that wing of Christianity that believed in fighting the Islamics and prevented the takeover of Europe by finally fighting on the east (Balkans) and on the west (Spain).

I firmly believe that governmental action against other governments is not bound by interpersonal standards. IOW, it is a small jump to applying this at a societal level. If my neighbor and I have a beef, then I treat him with Christian principles, but if a cartel gang attacks my house, then fight back. The same with any ‘group’ action against me and mine.

Fight back.

Luke 22: 36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.” 38 The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” he replied.
