I remember some years ago, a road trip that Hubby and I took from Seattle to Bloomington, IN; in order to watch our daughter's music recital at the Music School. It was a wonderful trip, with some beautiful scenery.

My daughter's teacher asked me why we would drive, when we could fly so much faster ('cause ya know, faster is always better).

I told him about all of the beautiful scenery that we had experienced, the numerous eagles that were seen. He was not impressed. Too bad, for him; 'cause sometimes taking it slow and looking at the beauty of our country is worth the trip.
