Six New Mexico teens face murder charges after authorities say one of them gunned down a 60-year-old man in his driveway while the group was breaking into cars and homes in a neighborhood.
Steve Gerecke, 60, was found dead in his driveway with multiple gunshot wounds on June 26. The suspects range from 14 to 17 years old.
Albuquerque Police Chief Gorden Eden said during a Friday news conference that one of the boys confessed on Thursday but the investigation is ongoing.

Heather Alter, Gerecke's daughter, said her father did not deserve to be executed.
'I want to address the parents of these animals,' she added. 'Where were you? Why did you let your children run the streets at 3am?
'I hold you, the parents, responsible. Just know a tsunami is coming.'

The parents should be charged and standing next to their spawn in court.
Lesson learned from this story - secure your valuables and lock your car.
May folks thing they live in a nice neighborhood but packs of feral yutes can cruise through at any time.
Three of four sets of parents are probably already back in Mexico.
This sounds like a case where the parents should serve time in the same prison cell with their children.
Let them look at each other for a few decades realizing how they failed themselves and society.

I have rebelled to the point I will not travel nor enter places I cannot carry (the exception is court of course) and even then I ignore most of them unless there is a metal detector. I trust nobody with my safety in this climate.
My small reduction of revenue for these places is nothing people need to bring commerce to its knees and avoid states and any business that says no to carrying a weapon.

I would suggest a public execution should be considered, like in the beginning of this country, when people dealt with reality instead of mollycoddling criminals.

You want a revolver so you won't have the rack the slide, probably a lightweight .38 special with a standard load. Have a custom spring installed to make the trigger pull lighter.
If that is too much to handle, perhaps a .22 magnum would do.
I think a revolver would be best to try. I really can’t do slides. I’ve tried. Thank you for your advice.
Smith and Wesson J-frame. Light weight, one handed operation, very safe to carry, always ready. Just point and pull the trigger. As an older person myself I give it an “A” rating.
