Keep in mind, though, that the United States exploded it's first atomic bomb 70 years ago, and the Soviets did the same 66 years ago. Even China did it over 50 years ago. The fact the Iranians are still flailing about, trying to do something that civilized nations managed well over half a century ago just illustrates how primitive and backwards the Iranians are, not just technologically, but culturally as well. This is a nation, after all, who overthrew the Shah and installed a bunch of mullahs to run the place because the Shah wanted to modernize Iran! That's one reason the Iranians are so dead set against inspection, IMO. They don't want the rest of the world to see what a threadbare mess their nuclear program really is. If you want to live in the 7th Century, that's up to you. Just don't expect any progress, technological or otherwise.
