You know, just like his father experienced, there is an entrenched establishment anti-liberty wing of the Republican party that uses any means of false attack to belittle the candidate that most stands for the principles this country was founded upon. Rand Paul is a Republican, he is against abortion, for less taxes, he is a Christian, pro-military (especially for the troops), and anti foreign entanglement (Bush ran on this). The only thing I can think is there is a group within the Republican party that is conservative in name only and will attack any real threat to government power.

So you seem to have NO PROBLEM with Paul getting MILLIONS OF FELONS and MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS (and others) to vote Democrat, since you didn’t respond to what I posted...just a personal attack.

You may want to visit a mirror, if you want to know what’s wrong with the Republican Party these days.

If you believe what I said constitutes a “personal attack”,
understand it was you that set the tone of the discussion when you implied Rand Paul (and by extension, his supporters) was not on “our” side. He is a Republican and a conservative and the candidate that comes closest to representing the values that our republic was founded upon.

I have no problem with felons voting once their full sentence to include parole is served. They have paid their debt to society at that point and regaining their right/privilege to vote is an incentive to be a law abiding citizen moving forward.

As far as voter ID laws, Rand Paul supports them. What he has said though is during election periods, the Republicans should focus on courting the minority vote instead of focusing on voter id which tends to alienate them. I agree with that philosophy and I agree voter ID is a good idea.

I look in the real and metaphorical mirror every day and wonder how to return our country to greatness and I am convinced it is through small and limited government that protects the rights of the individual. Our government over the last several administrations going all the way back to Clinton has been walking us down the path of statism. I believe it should be our number one priority to reverse this course and elect a candidate that best represents this philosophy.

WE ARE ALL REPUBLICANS.

I agree that Paul is trying to have it BOTH WAYS with Voter ID. Saying he’s for it, but then telling Republicans to SHUT THE HELL UP when it comes to supporting it. If that turns you on, so be it. But it doesn’t mean that I have to agree with the sellout.

And sorry, I still have a BIG PROBLEM with giving our opposition MILLIONS OF VOTES, be it Illegals or Felons. If you want to vote, don’t go RAPING and KILLING.

walker has a message....... I have met the enemy on the field of battle. Although i have received wounds, the enemy has been vanquished

the enemy is the liberal Democrat institutions of Wisconsin that Scott Walker has defeated with a host of change that has made Wisconsin a place of decency. He has repeatedly drawn lots of blood. Body parts of slain enemies litter the field. Walker’s message is testimony to that blood letting

the message of Can Do, Have Done is strong

Cruz has a great message but few are listening
