The Huffington Post said on Friday it will no longer cover the presidential campaign of real estate mogul and former reality TV star Donald Trump as politics, but rather, as entertainment.
"Our reason is simple: Trump's campaign is a sideshow," read a post bylined by the site's Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim and editorial director Danny Shea.

In matchup polling Trump fares far worse against Hillary than pretty much any other GOP candidate.
3/4th of the electorate don't take his campaign seriously.
In the 2012 cycle Herman Cain was leading the field by a large margin for a couple weeks. No serious politically learned person thought Cain was going to be the GOP nominee or had any shot at the White House, yet some in the conservative grass roots were excited about him for awhile.
Trump will implode like Cain. These are not real candidates that won't be able to stand the test of time through a campaign.
Saying that, Trump is a GOP candidate and is leading the field in some polls, so the liberal Huffington Post's judgement here is seriously flawed. Trump, for now at least, deserves the coverage of a top tier candidate.
I don’t think it will matter much. Trump will still get exposure.

No he won't. Cain for some incomprehensible reason still had the gal pal and wasn't ready with an honest answer. Cain was a CEO of whatever (something small) compared to what Trump runs. Cain didn't have the "I'm a better negotiater" advantage.

Obviously it doesn't matter that Trump has a RINO(or worse)record from past statements, dealings, etc., he's a well known name with lot's of money...that has a lot of pull in Kardashian America, and the left knows it(after all, they wrote the book).

What the DailyKos/Huffpo Liberals did to Herman Cain, is what they are now going to try with Trump.
The liberals IGNORED Herman Cain until he began to gain traction with Democrat-voting blacks, by being WAY to truthy about what Democrats are doing to blacks, and started using the Radical Black Dem’s own plantation rhetoric, that they use to control “wayward” blacks) against them.
Then, GLORIA ALRED, the Hillary-connected Democrat celeb lawyer, popped out of the woodwork with tales of
“Cain and White Women!!!”.
All of that was later disproven, and dropped since it was just lies, but it served the intended purpose of turning blacks that were listening to what Cain was saying, away from him, ad back to safe Democrat Slave Voters.
