There hasn’t been any ‘warming’ in 21 years...

If they want to grow ferns inexpensively, fine. We can always burn them for fuel if we need to.

I can empathize, since my in-laws have gien me a annual subscription to Scientific American for the last 20+ years.

I’m fortunate that they have been in my life for so many years,

Something I can’t say about SA - what a propaganda piece.

The solution to global warming is knowing there is no global warming, it is a fabrication of the Peter Pan leftist liberals from hell who love big government regulations which are used to regulate and destroy American liberties and rights by deceit and treachery.
The solution to global warming is realizing that the US government uses this and many other left wing programs as a way to continue to raise taxes and scare the sillies of America who believe politicians are looking out for them, both are lies indeed.

Interesting, it soaked up a lot of CO2 but what did it do with it? When the plant died wasn't the CO2 just returned to the atmosphere?

CO2 at 3500 PPM Daym!

Take as much as you want to cool the planet down to the normal temperature as determined by leading scientists - the more leading the bigger the grants. We don’t need all that CO2 as only plants need it, besides watering plants everyday is a chore most of us do not need - we have better things to do and programs to keep up with.

Humans don’t need all that stinking, rotten vegetation all over the place - it is hard to maintain, gets expensive to keep buying gas for the lawn mower and other essentials.

Keep the vegetation down to the reasonable levels as set by out scientists working glove in hand with our politicians who know best. We are just peons and our opinions are worthless compared to the vast double-domed knowledge these hugely popular and important people possess.

Best to cool the planet down until kilometer-high glaciers begin to form and then back off a bit, bringing the average sky-high power bills down to a more reasonable couple thousand dollars a month.

Eventually the carbon will be converted to carbon dioxide one way or another. If it consumed by animals, the carbon will be converted to carbon dioxide and expelled to the atmosphere. If used as a fertilizer, it will be decomposed releasing carbon dioxide or utilized to produce more plant life which keeps the cycle continuing.

That brontosaurus (they’ll never get me to stop using that name) would need a BIG SUV.

If CO2 was that high and life was fine, there’s no reason to freak out about lower levels now.

I’m fond of eating seaweed in Japanese dishes, and I like the algae cookies from the health food store-but farming this stuff wholesale sounds like messing with the natural cycle of things-not a good idea, IMO-after all, Africanized bees, Kudzu, Asian carp, etc did not work out very well-they became invasive species...
