The RINOs don’t get it. It isn’t about WHERE he stands. His popularity is about his willingness to stand UP and stand AGAINST the tide. This is something no RINO will do once he encounters any resistance.

He is no more of a conservative than Rudi Guilani. But by any fair assessment, Rudi had backbone and worked wonders for New York.
It will take a term or two of the current POS mayor before New Yorkers will really appreciate him. The same can be said about our current POS president.

This is really it, although I think Cruz is willing to stand up. However, it’s also about celebrity. Cruz isn’t anywhere near that level of celebrity yet. We are in a new age. What Trump’s “positions” are is largely irrelevant to the mass of voters. At this point, all I want is someone who will actually fight for SOME of my positions.
