White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest pointed out that members of Congress would be enjoying their August vacations by playing golf, but not necessarily with President Obama.
Earnest explained that Sunday’s round of golf with a few Democratic members of Congress had “been in the works for quite some time” and wasn’t necessarily a diplomatic effort to build support for his nuclear deal with Iran.
When asked if Obama would be playing more golf with members of Congress, Earnest declined to share any details of the president’s golfing schedule.
“I’m confident in the next 60 days, many members of Congress will be playing lots of golf, which is why they wanted they wanted the extra 30 days to consider the [Iran] agreement,” he grinned, referring to the upcoming August recess for members of Congress.
As members of the press corps reacted, Earnest defended himself, pointing out that it was a fact that Congress requested 60 days to review the Iran agreement so that they could still enjoy their August recess.

The cohorts in crime at the WH had better just STFU about anyone else taking a little time off. bammy has taken more vacations in his few years of occupation of the office than I have in my entire 30+ year career.
